OVMA is offering an exclusive pilot of the Mindful Practice in Medicine: Core Workshop, a highly regarded, evidence-based program developed at the University of Rochester Medical Center by Drs. Ron Epstein and Michael Krasner. Widely used in human health-care, this program supports clinicians in reducing burnout, building resilience, and reconnecting with meaning and joy in their work, and is now being offered through a veterinary lens for the first time.
This workshop is eligible for 23 hours of RACE-approved continuing education, and is facilitated by Dr. Gwen Jeun, DVM, RYT-500. It's open to veterinarians, RVTs, support staff and non-DVM leaders seeking a more sustainable and meaningful way of working in veterinary medicine.
This online, immersive experience helps participants:
• Reduce stress and emotional fatigue
• Strengthen resilience and emotional regulation
• Improve communication, presence, and self-awareness
• Reconnect with purpose and fulfillment
